Her days have always been filled with learning. With Ardbert it's been more practical things, like errands, which Kiyo likes a whole lot more than spending hours and hours being taught how to speak proper.
She thinks learning how to fight would be a lot more fun than errands or words.
"Now's definitely for stories. As for training, hmmmm....." He's going to pretend to give that idea a dramatically long thought, which he's always done to tease before saying yes and never to deny.
Ardbert rubs a horn between his thumb and the side of his finger. She can't feel it, but she knows his hand is there. He's worked with her so she's been less afraid of being touched there.
"I think we can arrange some training. You won't be at my level for a very long time, but exercise is good for you."
